Mark Riley-Gledhill
Technical Support

I have been working at M2M since November 2011. I joined direct from Sage where I spent more than 10 years in support. I originally supported Sage 50/Report Design before being promoted to the Construction support team. I still mainly support the Construction package for M2M, although now it’s called Eque2 Construction following a buy-out by Eque2 in 2013.

I am based in County Durham, and mainly work via phone answering queries and providing ‘dial-on’ support to our customers, but I can (and do) travel to visit customers for upgrades/installs and training. More than just a ‘nice change’ I particularly enjoy putting faces to names and meeting new people so I can better understand the challenges that they’re facing, and provide the best solution possible.

Outside of work I was always into music rather than sport growing up, and reached Grade 8 standard on the tuba – playing in part of the BBC Proms festival with the Northern Junior Philharmonic Orchestra, and touring Europe with various Youth Orchestras and Wind Bands. After leaving education, though, I found that I could make more noise with an electric guitar – and promptly joined a band. We were pretty terrible, but had a lot of fun. Now I restrict myself to the occasional burst of Guitar Hero on the X-Box – I’m much better on that than I ever was with a real guitar. I also enjoy playing badminton. I’m too old for Singles, but play Doubles at a local club. Mostly it’s just an enjoyable way of getting some exercise, but we do play competitively and the club has just been promoted to a stronger league.

Since joining M2M I have also got married to my lovely wife Bee, and we’ve just moved from ‘my’ flat to our first house together so I’ve had a great few years, and am looking forward to many more.
