Eque2 Construction can link with both Sage 50 and Sage 200 Accounts, so regardless of where your company is now there is a package to suit your requirements, and you can be confident it will continue to do so for many years to come – using the industry standard accounts package and linking to a flexible contracts costing system that allows you to report WIP information on a job-by-job basis, analysing profitability per item or by contract as required.

You can use Eque2 Construction to interact with the HMRC Gateway to verify new subcontractors, and submit your monthly HMRC CIS returns – this saves time and makes the whole process easier so that you can focus on ensuring your contracts stay on track, and in profit.

Eque2 Construction handles all kinds of documents (applications, certificates, invoices etc) specific to the Construction industry, and can deal with both cumulative and non-cumulative transactions as required, coping with CIS on all supplier documents, as well as CITB and retention values – in fact pretty much anything your construction business need. All documents can be printed, saved as pdf files, exported to Excel, or emailed as necessary so that you can communicate with your Customer/Suppliers/Sub-Contractors whichever way suits you best.

You can setup your contracts to be as simple or complex as you require – from single line jobs where all costs/revenue are logged together, to contracts with thousands of individual lines. Each line would have its own budget for cost and revenue and be grouped the way that you want – by cost type (Labour, Materials etc), by Contract Phase, or whatever suits your needs best. If you have a standard template this can be saved and applied to each new job in seconds – complete with cost codes to be used when posting to accounts saving you time every time a new contract is created/won.

In addition to the reports available within Eque2 Construction there is also the Intelligent Construct Analysis (ICA) module available as a ‘bolt on’ to Construct that allows users direct (read only) access to the SQL Database containing your Construct data so that data can easily be extracted and manipulated on demand – producing Pivot Table reports/Charts that you the user can customise yourself. Anyone familiar with Excel can then create/customise reports based on ‘live’ data without needing to be familiar with the program itself – especially useful for Directors who want to see high-level figures on a regular basis, but may not normally use the program for data entry.
